One year in U&SLUNO by Peter Machlica
How was your first year at U&SLUNO?
In many ways, I have experienced an inspiring and rewarding first year at Sluno. U&SLUNO is a company of professionals, and I have learned a lot from them. At the same time, the company operates as a family business, which suits me well because it creates opportunities for individual creativity and self-initiative.
What would you like to accomplish by the end of the year?
I have always set my ambitions higher than what is expected of me, both professionally and in my personal life. We see pandemic measures receding slightly, leaving me with a broader realisation space in the business and a really proactive approach to customers. By the end of the year, I would like to establish a stable base of satisfied customers and fulfil my business plan despite the pandemic measures.
Tell us something about your personal life.
We love hiking, and last year my family and I started to gradually visit the hiking lookouts in our area. There are 145 such lookouts in Slovakia; thus, there’s still a lot to do. And since the conditions for sports events are gradually easing up, I’d like to rerun the Žilina Half Marathon in September in under 1:40:00.
